Branding Your Business Locally

Here is an excellent quote from the legendary basketball player-turned-successful business owner, Magic Johnson in a recent Wall Street Journal interview.

Consumers want you to give back to the community where you make your money. That’s how you gain brand loyalty. It’s not about making millions of dollars and not touching the community in a positive way.

It is a terrific interview to read.  Not only does he talk about his success, he also talks about the lesson he learned from his failures.  I encourage you to check it out and think about how you run your business.
