Giving You Choices

I was reading an old article posted in June 2006 @ The Marketing Message Blog when this paragraph caught my attention.

Want to create a web publishing empire?  Then your marketing efforts should be structured to provide your customers with choices.  Take a look at your homepage.  Do you provide an entry point for each target audience?  Don’t make your visitor guess where to go next.

Somehow, this paragraph created this diagram inside my head immediately.  It got me thinking about how can I improve my current homepage to help my visitors go where they want to go.

She makes a really good point in the end (of a really short article) about how much easier it will be for you to sell your products or services once you know what kind of choices your target customers want before they buy.
